EPUB not sending to Kindle? Check the error first
E999, an unapproved sender and an invalid EPUB need different next steps. Check the message before changing the file.
Sending a personal document to your Kindle is different from publishing a book through KDP. Start with the full error message and whether you used email or the Send to Kindle website.
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle troubleshootingE999: Send to Kindle internal error
Amazon describes E999 as an internal service error. The code alone does not prove that your EPUB is damaged.
Wait and retry as Amazon recommends. A maintenance message also calls for retrying later. If the error continues, keep the complete message for Amazon support.
E014: unapproved sender email
Amazon has not approved the address that sent the document. Editing EPUB metadata cannot approve it.
In Amazon's Personal Document Settings, add the trusted sender to the Approved Personal Document Email List, then resend.
E007: email attachment too large
Amazon's E007 guidance applies to email: each attachment must be no larger than 50 MB before ZIP compression. This is separate from EPUB Fixer's 30 MB upload limit.
Check the attachment size and Amazon's instructions for your sending method. This tool does not compress the book. E006 means too many email attachments; Amazon permits up to 25.
E013: incompatible conversion elements
Amazon says this document was delivered, but some Kindle document features are unavailable because of incompatible elements.
Review the source document against Amazon's specific guidance. Do not delete images, audio, mathematics or other content just to clear the message; this scanner cannot choose which content to remove.
No code, or a different sending error
A generic delivery failure is not enough to identify an OPF, navigation or metadata error.
Keep the full message, check the official troubleshooting page, and confirm which file you sent. A structure scan is one file check, not a test of the delivery service.
When an EPUB structure scan can help
If you have a reflowable EPUB and suspect a broken package, missing resource or parsing error, a scan can show the affected files and whether a checked repair is possible. It cannot inspect your Amazon account or reproduce Amazon’s conversion service.
EPUB 2 or 3, up to 30 MB, with no DRM or fixed layout. A passing EPUBCheck result does not guarantee Send to Kindle will accept the file.

Will changing the EPUB title or language fix E999?
E999 does not identify a title or language error. Start with Amazon's retry instruction. Edit metadata only when you actually want to change those values.
Does passing EPUBCheck guarantee Kindle delivery?
No. EPUBCheck checks EPUB conformance. Amazon's account, delivery and conversion systems apply their own checks.
Should I convert EPUB to another format and back?
That can change the book's content or layout and does not diagnose the error. Preserve the original, follow the complete message, and inspect a specific file problem before modifying it.
